Mission residents go to the polls tomorrow for the provincial election.

The local municipality has been split into two ridings, Maple Ridge-Mission and Abbotsford-Mission.

In Maple Ridge-Mission, competing for the MLA's seat are Mike Bocking (BC NDP), Marc Dalton (BC Liberals), Alex Pope (BC Green Party), and Chad Thompson (BC Conservatives).

In Abbotsford-Mission, there are seven people running: Wendy Bales (independent), Roman Bojczuk (indepedent), Aird Flavelle (BC Green Party), Simon Gibson (BC Liberals), Marcus Halliday (BC Excalibur Party), Preet Rai (BC NDP), and Don Stahl (BC Conservative).

Well before the writ was dropped, The Mission Record was putting together profiles on the candidates in each riding, and offered each person running the opportunity to give a 60-second video message to voters.

Additionally, we have coverage from last Thursday's all-candidates' meeting, which was held at the Mission Best Western.

Take the time to get informed and cast your vote. The polls are open from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m.
