Mission assistant fire chief Norm MacLeod said crews were dispatched to the area earlier this afternoon, and managed to put the fire out despite its high degree of difficulty.

MacLeod said there were no injuries, but some damage to materials in the fire’s general area.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
