Marc Dalton has been acclaimed as the B.C. Liberal candidate in Maple Ridge-Mission for the upcoming 2017 provincial election.
“We’ve balanced four consecutive budgets and delivered the top performing economy in Canada,” said Dalton. “But we still have more work to do and I look forward to advocating on behalf of the residents of Maple Ridge and Mission so we can continue to benefit from job creation and a strong local economy.”
Dalton currently serves on the select standing committee on children and youth, select standing committee on health and the cabinet committee on secure tomorrow.
Before being elected to the Legislature in 2009, Dalton was a teacher in the Maple Ridge School District.
“It’s been a privilege to serve the people of Maple Ridge-Mission and I look forward to continuing to work hard and make a positive contribution to both communities and to the province if elected once again in next year’s election,” added Dalton.
The election will take place on Tuesday, May 9, 2017.
