The District of Mission has hired Jennifer Kinneman for the newly created role of manager of civic engagement and corporate initiatives.
Kinneman comes here after working at McMaster University for the past eight years as the program manager, marketing various programs and opportunities for the school.
She holds a bachelor of arts (honours) degree from McMaster University, as well as a public relations certificate from Humber College.
In her new role, she will be focusing on raising citizen and business awareness and understanding of municipal initiatives, programs and issues, and on developing and promoting opportunities for public engagement and feedback.
Kinneman starts June 3.
