James John Jackson has escaped from Ferndale Institution.

A man who escaped from Mission’s Ferndale Institution was arrested by Penticton RCMP officers April 9.

James John Jackson, 31, had been at large since March 19.

He was found hiding under a bed in a home on Pineview Drive in Kaleden, which is south of Penticton on the west side of Skaha Lake. An 18-year-old Kelowna female was also arrested at the same location on a warrant from that community. She was also charged with obstructing a peace officer.
