Soapbox Derby racers came to the Mission Leisure Centre on Saturday to register – and have their vehicles inspected – for the June 20 race.

Potential participants for the June 20 race were at the Mission Leisure Centre on Saturday to register for the annual event

The Mission & District Soapbox Derby Association held a registration and inspection day at the leidure centre on Saturday.

Drivers wanting to participate in the June 20 Soapbox Derby taking place on Stave Lake Road came out to ensure they were eligible to participate.

Race day check-in runs from 7:30 to 8 a.m. with the races starting at 9 .a.m.

Participants must be aged eight to 14 years.
