Mission Secondary School is returning to normal activities after a short, hold and secure was issued today (Feb. 7).
According to Mission Schools Superintendent Angus Wilson, an unsubstantiated threat was received towards the school and a hold and secure was put in place.
“In this situation, the inside of the school continues to function normally … we just close the outside doors as a precautionary measure and the police come by,” he explained.
The close and secure ended at 2:55 p.m. as no threat was discovered.
“Nothing was delayed, the buses, the kids, everything was normal.”
