Key cutting equipment stolen

Four key cutting machines were stolen from a Mission Locksmith in the 32000 block of Lougheed Highway last week.

Four key cutting machines were stolen from a Mission Locksmith in the 32000 block of Lougheed Highway last week.

The theft happened overnight on June 8, according to Mission RCMP, and items stolen included the machines used to cut keys and change locks, as well as about 240 black vehicle keys. The machines are portable, weighing between 30 and 40 pounds.

Police say the suspects entered the business by breaking a glass door.
