Lougheed closed Dec. 2 from 6 to 9 p.m. for parade

Mission's annual Candlelight Parade will see major thoroughfares closed for a few hours.

Next Friday, the Mission Regional Chamber of Commerce will host the 28th annual Mission Candlelight Parade.

Lougheed Highway between Murray Street to the Cedar Valley Connector will be closed to all traffic from 6 to 9 p.m. Detour routes will be marked.

A shuttle service will be running from the Mission Raceway to the Mission Hills Shopping Mall to provide additional parking.

Come celebrate the joyous holiday season at the largest annual nighttime Christmas parade in B.C. The parade will begin on First Avenue at Horne at 7:30 p.m., and it will continue through downtown to the Cedar Connector.
