New apartment buildings dominate the list of 2019’s most valuable building permits

Abbotsford has continued to see a large amount of building in 2019. These are the five most valuable projects for which the city has issued building permits so far.

The largest is a 103-unit apartment building on Eleanor Avenue. Construction on the $22 million project began in May.

Last year’s most valuable building permit was an $87 million construction permit issued as part of the new Abbotsford courthouse. The most valuable project of the last decade was high street
