A March Against Monsanto is being planned for this Saturday in Mission, patterned after events happening globally.
The local march starts at noon, and those interested in marching are asked to meet at Mission Library with your signs.
Participants will walk up and down the length of First Avenue in the downtown core until 2 p.m. Those marching are calling for a permanent boycott of genetically modified organisms (GMO).
