A pair of measles clinics are being offered in Mission.
The vaccination clinic is for all unimmunized residents of Fraser East (Abbotsford, Mission and Chilliwack) and is it by appointment only.
Mission Oaks Medical Centre (inside Real Canadian Superstore) will host the clinics on March 27 from 2 to 6 p.m., and April 2 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m
Anyone with two documented doses of MMR (mumps, measles, rubella) vaccine is considered protected. People born before Jan. 1, 1970 are likely immune due to previous measles infection and no immunization is recommended. All individuals born on or after Jan. 1, 1970 should receive two doses of measles-containing vaccine after one year of age.
