Mission bride-to-be injured at nightclub

No charges laid yet after altercation at nightclub

A soon-to-be Mission bride is recovering after her bachelorette party in Vancouver turned violent.

Vancouver Police confirmed a fight happened around 11:45 p.m. Saturday inside Bar None Night Club on Hamilton Street. The 29-year-old Mission woman was involved in an altercation with two different groups of people. She was treated in hospital for cuts to her head and leg.

“We do know that there was another group involved, other than the victim and bar staff,” said VPD spokesperson Randy Fincham. “It is important that these people come forward and tell their side of the story.”

On its Facebook page, Bar None says it takes “the safety of our patrons and employees seriously.”

There have been no charges laid in the case and the investigation is ongoing.

Anyone that has information about this fight and has not yet spoken to police are asked to call the Vancouver Police Department or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
