The Mission Hospice Gala broke its fundraising record on April 30. bringing in over $80,000.
The annual event raises money for Mission Hospice Society (MHS), but over the last few years it couldn’t be held due to the pandemic.
MHS has been assisting the community since 1985 by offering end-of-life care and bereavement programs.
“We are very grateful for the support of local individuals and organizations that help us do important hospice work in Mission and the surrounding communities at no charge to our clients,” said Angel Elias, MHS executive director.
“Our programs and services, provided to patients and families in all Mission areas, are only possible because of the thoughtful contributions.”
