Movember is here to raise money and awareness about men’s health.
In Mission, several efforts are underway to promote men’s health and to fight cancer.
Lacey Construction has taken part in Movember with a campaign that is raising money and getting staff involved – including female staff cutting off their hair in support.
“Carpenter Jason Rich got us going and we had close to 10 of our team members participate with Samantha and Lesa kicking off the shave down by donating their hair,” said the company’s permit and project coordinator, Samantha Eddy. “Jason was motivated to mark Movember seeing the men around him struggle with cancer diagnoses and mental health challenges. This month is about making a difference in mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer.”
