UPDATE: Mission RCMP say the 12-year-old boy reported missing on Thursday (April 13) was located safe.

ORIGINAL STORY

A mother has taken to Facebook to locate her 12-year-old son who went missing in Mission last night (April 12).

According to a Facebook post from Lateesha Henderson, her son was seen by friends sleeping at Centennial Park last night. Henderson says he was wearing a black hoodie and viper sunglasses.

“We have checked all his main hangout areas and scoured the parks,” she said.

The Mission Record has contacted the Mission RCMP for further information.
