Mission motorcyclist in serious condition after accident

An air ambulance was called in after a female was hurt during a motorcycle accident on Stave Lake Road in Mission.

A collision between a motorcycle and a Ford F-350 truck has sent a woman to hospital in serious condition

The accident took place Tuesday afternoon in the area of Ferndale Ave. and Stave Lake St.

Mission RCMP say the female rider of the motorcycle was traveling north on Stave Lake Rd. and was in the process of passing northbound traffic.

The truck traveling in front of the motorcycle made a left turn onto Ferndale Ave. when it was struck in the rear driver side by the motorcycle.

The motorcyclist was taken to hospital by air ambulance. RCMP have no current update on her condition.

This matter remains under investigation.
