Mission Outlaws hosting weekend fundraiser

Funds raised go to the Christmas Bureau

The Mission City Outlaws are partnering with Save-On-Foods this Sunday, Nov. 6, from noon to 3 p.m. for a hot dog/chips/soda fundraiser where all of the proceeds go directly to the Mission Christmas Bureau.

Save-On-Foods is donating all of the food and prizes.

There will be a shooting opportunity where the kids can try to get a goal on one of the Outlaws teammates who play for the junior B hockey team. Gift cards will be given to the winner, also courtesy of Save-On-Foods. There will be a spin the wheel for free Save-On-More points and other prizes. “This is a rain-or-shine event; we have large tents to keep everyone under cover and comfortable,” said Krista Dhaliwal, marketing director for the Outlaws. “Our goal is to bring as much community awareness as possible to make this a successful fundraiser for the Christmas Bureau. Our team is also volunteering to set up and dismantle the Christmas Bureau. which is also at the Junction location.”
