Business at Mission Raceway has been booming lately with a wide range of events.

The latest was the West Coast Outlaw Shootout from Sept. 30 to Oct. 3 with fans treated to some loud, fast and muscular vehicles hitting the track.

The British Columbia Drift Association is also bringing Driftober Fest to Mission Raceway Park on Oct. 15 and 16.

There will be two days of drifting on two tracks, multiple layouts, drift games, a live DJ Saturday night, car show, and RC drifting demo, which is weather permitting, but the weekend is rain or shine.

Spectator tickets are $20 per person per day, or $30 for a weekend pass. There will be no spectator camping for this event – drivers and crew only.

Saturday gates open at 11 a.m. and the track is hot from noon to 8 p.m., with the DJ performing from 8 to 11 p.m.
