On April 25, 2021, police located a series of coins and are currently still trying to find the owner.
“The coins appear to be miniature replicas of various currencies from around the world,” explained Const. Mohr of the Mission RCMP.
“We aren’t sure of their exact worth, it appears to be a very unique collection which may be of considerable sentimental value to someone. We are looking to reunite them with their owner,” Mohr added.
The coins are described as quite small, approximately two centimetres in diameter but have very detailed engravings.
The Mission RCMP have not located any matching reports of lost coins that they are aware of.
Anyone who knows anything about the owner of these coins is asked to contact the Mission RCMP or, if applicable, BC Crimestoppers.
