Mission RCMP are investigating a stabbing incident which occurred over the weekend.
On Saturday, April 1, police responded to a reported stabbing near the Safeway, in the Mission Hills Mall.
Emergency health service and police attended to a male reporting that he had received a cut to his head from a knife. The male was transported to hospital for a non-life threatening injury.
A description of a male suspect was given to police, as the suspect had left the scene prior to police attendance.
As the suspect was known to the victim, RCMP say there is no concern for public safety.
The file remains under investigation.
