The Mission RCMP are hoping to talk to a letter writer.
Sometime last night (March 24) an unknown person dropped off a letter at the Community Policing Office located on 1st Ave.
The letter contained concerns for the safety of a young woman and mentioned a man named “Jake.”
It was left in a white envelope addressed to CrimeStoppers.
Investigators are taking the information contained in the letter seriously and need additional information to assist in the investigation.
Police are requesting the writer of the letter contact the Mission RCMP at 604-826-7161 and tel whoever answers the phone that they are calling about police file 16-3576.
