Mission’s annual policing forum is back.

Mission RCMP Officer in Charge, Insp. Annette Fellner is inviting the community to participate in the 4th annual forum on Feb. 28 from 6-8 p.m. The forum will be held at the gymnasium in the Mission Leisure Centre (7650 Grand Street).

Last year’s forum was postponed due to the departure of Insp. Ted de Jager.

This is the public’s opportunity to contribute to policing priorities in the community.

The forum will feature an update on crime trends in the community, a review of the Mission RCMP Detachment Annual Performance Plan and an update on new initiatives to increase our levels of service and coordination with our community partners.

The evening will end with a moderator question period to raise concerns and offer suggestions. Remember to have your questions ready as attendees will be asked to write them on paper provided.

The Crime Prevention Office, Victim Service volunteers and RCMP members will be out in force to display the full range of community crime prevention services available in Mission.
