Mission RCMP Inspector Ted De Jager is inviting the community to participate in the second annual Mission Policing Forum.

This is the public’s opportunity to contribute to policing priorities in the community.

The forum will feature an update on crime trends in the community, a review of the Mission RCMP detachment’s annual performance plan and an update on new initiatives to increase levels of service and co-ordination with community partners.

The evening will end with a panel discussion and an open question period to raise concerns, offer suggestions and meet with police officers and Mission detachment staff.

The crime prevention office and volunteers will be out in force to display the full range of community crime prevention programs available in Mission.

The policing forum takes place March 23 from 6-9 p.m. at the Mission Leisure Centre’s gymnasium (7650 Grand St.).

Free childcare is available on site from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
