Mission teen still missing

This Sunday is the five-year anniversary of the disappearance of Jeffrey Surtel

This weekend marks the fifth anniversary of Mission teen who disappeared.

Jeffrey Surtel was last seen April 29, 2007 departing his home wearing dark-coloured jeans, a navy-coloured T-shirt and blue hooded sweatshirt.

He may have been riding a distinctive blue CCM mountain bike with yellow front forks at the time of his disappearance.

When he vanished, Surtel about 6’1″ tall, and weighed approximately 150 pounds, with medium-length brown hair, brown eyes, no facial hair and he wore glasses.

Police have tracked down several leads and possible sightings over the years, but to no avail.
