A motorcyclist remains in stable condition in hospital after an accident on Saturday in Mission.

The incident took place on the Cedar Connector, by Seventh Ave.

According to Mission RCMP, the accident involved a sedan and the motorcycle. The driver and passenger in the sedan were not injured, however an air ambulance was called in to take the motorcyclist to Royal Columbian Hospital.

Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.

Police say no charges have been filed at this time, but the investigation is ongoing and there were several witnesses.

Mission RCMP want to remind drivers that more motorcycles are on the road, now that summer is here.

“We want to remind motorists to be diligent in shoulder checking and checking their mirrors, especially when in intersections or making lane changes. Motorcycles are smaller and you often can’t see them,” said Cpl. Nathan Berze.
