Motorcyclist killed on Mission Bridge

Accident took place on Saturday night, shutting down traffic

A motorcyclist has died after losing control and hitting another car on the Mission bridge on Saturday night.

According to the RCMP, at about 6:30 p.m., the motorcyclist, who has not been identified, was attempting to merge onto the bridge when he collided with a vehicle.

The man was pronounced dead on the scene. No one else involved in the accident was injured.

The police investigation shut down traffic on the bridge for several hours.
