UPDATE:

The City of Mission has announced that the water advisory for 16 properties on Wilson Street has been updated to a boil water advisory.

ORIGINAL STORY:

A mudslide near Mission’s Hayward Dam has led to a water quality advisory for 16 properties on Wilson Street.

The mudslide has caused issues to the water quality on the Ruskin Water System, impacting the 13 homes in the Ruskin Townsite, and three properties in the Ruskin Trailer Court (9950, 9960, 9970 Wilson St.).

Impacted residents with questions and concerns can contact the city’s public works department: 604-820-3761.
