An open letter to you people who love to take your dog for early morning walks at the Deux Rives School yard.
I live right behind the school in the townhome complex. While I am often awake before 6 a.m., these days I do not always like to hear the voices of complete strangers first thing in the morning.
You have a huge field available to you.
Why do you choose to converse while walking the fence line beside the townhomes?
Also, are you aware that the only dogs permitted on school property (even outside school hours) are seeing eye dogs for the blind.
Could you not walk your dog at Heritage Park instead?
The only residents you will disturb there would be sleeping birds.
Something to think about.
