Police officers searched Mill Lake on Saturday as part of an investigation into missing woman Marie Stuart.

Police officers were searching Mill Lake on Saturday morning, as part of the missing person investigation of Marie Stuart.

Stuart has been missing since Dec. 27, 2016 and hasn’t been seen by any member of her family since, police say.

Abbotsford Police Department’s Sgt. Judy Bird said the search was not sparked by any new information or tips but was being conducted today because of the recently thawed lake surface.
