PROFILE: Tony Luck, councillor

Tony Luck brings nearly 30 years experience with BC Hydro and is a financial consultant.

“If necessary, I am not afraid to be a lone voice for the correct management of public business on Mission council.”

Tony and his family have lived in Abbotsford and Mission for over 30 years. He is a consultant with Investors Group after a 28-year career with BC Hydro.

He holds business and history degrees from the University of The Fraser Valley and is the chair of the UFV Alumni Association.

A co-founder of the Abbotsford Ratepayers Association, Tony has become acutely aware of a general need for proper fiscal accountability in local government.

As grandparents of eight, Tony and wife Julie know the struggle many young families and seniors have in meeting day-to-day living expenses.

Tony stresses, “My business and family track record proves that I believe in fiscal responsibility and openness in government. I will be working hard for fairness, justice and inclusion for all taxpayers.”
