A house fire on Minter Street was quickly extinguished by Abbotsford emergency crews this afternoon.
Around 2:20 p.m. flames and smoke were reported visibly coming out of the second floor of the building.
Minter Street remains blocked off on Hillcrest Ave with several firetrucks, a police cruiser and ambulance on scene conducting an investigation.
Initial scanner reports said the fire started from a stove.
