The Blind Slough Dam in Mission will be closed to all traffic for 12 days starting next week.

On Monday (March 6) at 7 a.m., BC Hydro will begin annual maintenance on the location and shut off traffic until it reopens at 4 p.m. on March 17.

A detour route will be accessible with parts of Dewdney Trunk Road restricted to local traffic only. The closure will still allow access to emergency vehicles and scheduled school buses.

Powerhouse at Stave Falls will remain open with access from the west side of Dewdney Trunk Road.
