Mission RCMP are appealing to the public for information about a sexual assault reported to have happened earlier this year.
A 12-year-old female was approached and sexually assaulted by an unknown person in the late afternoon or evening hours on a weekday in early January in the park area near Hillside Elementary School.
The suspect is described as an Asian-looking male in his late teens or early 20s, standing about six feet tall, thin build, and multiple piercings.
