Shots fired in Abbotsford, but no suspect or vehicle descriptions provided

Shots were fired Monday night (Feb . 8) in Abbotsford, and police are looking for more information.

The Abbotsford Police Department (APD) said officers responded at 9:43 p.m. to reports of shots being fired in the 33000 block of Pine Street. This is located in the historic downtown core behind the BC Employment and Assistance office.

They found bullet casings on the scene, but no vehicle or suspect descriptions have been provided.

The APD said the investigation is in the preliminary stages, and officers are speaking to witnesses and collecting CCTV footage.

Anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have dash-cam or CCTV footage of the area taken between 9 and 10 p.m. on Monday is asked to contact the APD at 604-859-5225.
