Mission Fire Rescue Service was called to Hatzic Middle School today (May 19), after a small fire led to an evacuation.
The fire occurred in one of the school washrooms, according to an email sent to parents at 1:45 p.m.
All students and staff were evacuated safely and returned to class after the fire was fully extinguished, the email says.
