Two men shot in Mission home invasion

The two wounded men had been in the residence when two suspects broke in. An altercation ensued during which both residents were shot .

Mission RCMP are investigating a multiple shooting on Friday morning.

Two Mission men were shot during a home invasion on Friday morning.

At approximately 4:30 a.m., the RCMP received a call for assistance at a home on Cardinal Street.

The B.C. Ambulance Service had already been contacted regarding persons shot at that location.

Police attended the large residential property and found two 27-year-old males with gunshot wounds.

The two wounded men had been in the residence when two suspects broke in.  An altercation ensued during which both residents were shot by the suspects who then fled the scene.  The gunshot wounds were not life threatening and both wounded men were transported to hospital for treatment.

A medicinal marijuana grow operation was located on the property.

The victims names have not been released.
