Two men wounded in early-morning shooting in Mission

The pair from Mission and Abbotsford showed up at separate hospitals, suffering from gunshot wounds.

Two men from the Mission/Abbotsford area who are known to police were shot early Wednesday morning.

Mission RCMP are investigating the incident, after they were called to a local hospital at 3 a.m. after a man had been located in the parking lot suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

At around the same time, police were called to another local area hospital, where a second man had arrived for treatment of gunshot wounds.

Both men were treated and their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Police believe both men were wounded as the result of a single incident that occurred in the Mission area.

No arrests have been made.

The Mission RCMP general investigation section is investigating. No further details were available.
