Public meetings have been scheduled to discuss the proposal to construct two new wireless telecommunication towers in the Mission area.

Mayor and council were informed, during last week’s council meeting, about the proposal for:

• Freedom Mobile, for a high-mast wireless telecommunication facility in the Mission Sports Park.

TELUS Mobility will be hosting a public information meeting on March 14 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. and Freedom Mobility will be hosting a public information meeting on March 16 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Both meetings will take place at the Best Western Plus – Chapel Room, 32281 Lougheed Highway.
