The Abbotsford Police Department (APD) is asking for the public’s help to locate two people who were recently reported missing.

Alexander James Thorne, 17, was reported missing on April 20 from a residence in central Abbotsford. He was last seen on April 17 in the area of Ware Street and South Fraser Way.

He has made some contact with people through social media, but police say they still need to speak with him to confirm his well-being.

Thorne is 6’ 2” and weighs 200 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair, and has a three-inch scar on his left forearm.

Katelend Victoria Lyons, 26, was reported missing on April 21. She was last seen on March 31, and normally provides updates to family via phone or social media.

Police say her family is concerned because there have been no recent calls or contacts.

Lyons is of no fixed address, but routinely spends time in downtown Abbotsford.

She is 5’ 6” and weighs 119 pounds. She has green eyes and blonde hair.

Anyone with information about either Thorne or Lyons is asked to call the APD at 604-859-5225 or text abbypd (222973).
