Two tractors stolen from blueberry farm

Thieves steal equipment from a barn east of Mission

More than $80,000 of farm equipment was stolen from a berry farm in the Hatzic area last weekend.

Mission Mounties investigated the call Saturday morning and found the padlock on the barn door at the blueberry farm east of Mission had been cut. Various farming equipment, including two tractors were stolen.

Significant items taken were:

•    Red Kubota M8540NPK farm tractor with an estimated value of $63,000

•    Red Massey Ferguson 1529HL farm tractor with an estimated value of $24,000

•    Landpride RBT3584 farm tractor blade with an estimated value of $3,000

Police are asking anyone with information about the theft to call them at 604-26-7161.
