Mission RCMP are currently on scene after a shooting in the Stave Falls area.
Police are investigating at a home on Dewdney Trunk Road where the incident is believed to have taken place.
While the investigation is ongoing, RCMP have confirmed that one person has been taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police have not said whether a suspect was in custody or not as the investigation is preliminary at this time. However, police confirm there are no safety concerns for the immediate area.
The report of the shooting came in to Mission RCMP at about 1:30 p.m. today (Jan. 10). Police, B.C. Ambulance and Mission Fire Rescue attended the scene.
