A portion of Lougheed Highway was closed Friday morning as Mission RCMP investigated a scene where a body was found.
The man has been identified as a 49-year-old Mission man, and following an autopsy, there were no signs of injuries on the body. A toxicology report has not yet been completed, said Sgt. Miriam Dickson, and there were no signs of foul play.
The name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The male's body was discovered by RCMP at around 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 14.
Mission Fire/Rescue Service's ladder truck was brought out to help Mounties get a view of the area, located on the south side of Highway 7, just east of Fruits and Greens.
