A man who was wanted by Mission RCMP in 2015 has now been sentenced for the crimes with which he had been charged.

Thomas Michael Pappas, 52, received a four-month jail term to be followed by three years of probation on charges of criminal harassment and breaching his probation.

He was sentenced Jan. 13 in Abbotsford provincial court.

Mission RCMP issued a notice in May 2015 that they were trying to locate Pappas, who was wanted on outstanding warrants.

At the time, they said he was known to frequent the downtown area of Mission, as well as the Mission Hills Mall area.

He had last been seen near Mission Memorial Hospital.

Pappas was arrested the following month.
