Environment Canada warns of possibility of localized flooding from moderate rainfall and melting snow

Although a snowfall warning remained in effect for Abbotsford as of 7:20 a.m., the snow has changed to rain that is expected to continue throughout the day.

Environment Canada warns: “The moderate rainfall in combination with melting snow could cause localized flooding today. Culverts and catch basins should be kept clear.”

Between five and 10 millimetres of rain is anticipated, with winds around 20 km/h this morning.
