1934 ~ 2016
Abe peacefully went home to be with his Lord and Saviour on August 15, 2016. He loved nothing more than to have his children and grandchildren around him. He will be sadly missed by all. He was the third child born into the Gerhard Janzen family in Reesor, Ontario on December 25th, 1934. He was predeceased by his parents, his sisters Anne and Helen, and his brother Dave. He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 57 years, Nettie, his children; Trevor (Elaine) Janzen and Paula (Trevor) Funk, his grandchildren Caleb, Alysha (Stryder Watson) and Kyle Janzen. He also leave to mourn three siblings – George (Martha) Janzen, Mary (Al) Gowan and Susan (John) Borne. A Memorial Service will be held at Cedar Valley Mennonite Church, 32860 Cherry Avenue, Mission, on Saturday, August 27th at 1:00 pm.
