Agnes Theresia FISHER

January 28, 2006

Agnes Theresia Fisher passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on January 28, 2006 at the age of 88. Agnes was born at St. Gregor, Sask. on July 26, 1917. She is survived by her loving family: husband Charles, daughters Joan Magee of Williams Lake, BC, and Susan Lange of Mission, BC; grandchildren Brent and Brian Magee of Williams Lake and Krista Lange of Nanaimo, BC.

Agnes was predeceased by her son James who died in 1958.

During the course of their 63 year marriage Charles' work took them to postings at Fort St. John, Calgary, Yellowknife, Saskatoon, Brandon and Winnipeg. Upon retirement, Charles and Agnes moved to Abbotsford where Agnes could pursue her love of golf. They were active members of the Ledgeview Golf and Country Club for many years then took up the game a little less strenuously at the Fraserglen Golf Club where Agnes was still playing at the age of 88. Agnes will be remembered by the many people whose lives she touched. She was well known in her neighbourhood as the lady who walked her little black dog, Trixie, who also misses her terribly. All who knew Agnes would say that she was a kind, generous and wonderful lady. Let us hope that her six holes-in-one will assure her of a membership in that great golf course in paradise.

Friends are invited to join the family for a remembrance tea and celebration of her life on Friday, February 3 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm at the Salvation Army Cascade Community Church, 35190 Delair Rd., Abbotsford.
