Alfred was survived by: Sisters: Rena Bolton, Selma Phillips, and Antonia Joyce Phillips; and many nieces and nephews And Predeceased by: Parents: Alfred Phillips (Leq’á:mel) and Annie Silva (Sumas); Brothers: Merle Phillips, Peter (Speedy) Bolan, George Silva, and Benjamin Silva Tuner was a recognizable character in the Mission, Matsqui, Abbotsford and Chilliwack area. He spent his whole life on the river fishing and fixing old cars for friends. He had a good sense of humour and a stubborn streak to match. He was liked by most and loved by many. Thank you to Leq’á:mel First Nation for all the support and kindness in our time of need, Woodlawn for their guidance, and all the family members who donated their time and knowledge to provide Tuner with a good journey to the spirit world. He has been interred at the Leq’á:mel Cemetery, Deroche BC The Phillips Family
