RODE Alice Southern. (nee Strickland)
Born November 30, 1920 in Evansburg, Alberta, Alice passed away peacefully with family present on June 22, 2012 in Abbotsford at the age of 91 years. She was predeceased by her husband Alf in 1991; her parents Mary and John Strickland in 1980 and her sisters Anne McDonald and Jeanie Gavin. She will be dearly missed by her surviving sisters, Irene Radau, Abbotsford and Mary Doyle, Camano Island, Washington along with numerous nephews and nieces and their families. Special thanks to her caregivers at Worthington Pavilion for their care and support. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 30 at 11:00 a.m. in Peace Lutheran Church, 2029 Ware Street, Abbotsford.
