Allan Charles Way

Allan passed peacefully away at home in Abbotsford, British Columbia at the age of 88. He was born in Grand Falls, Newfoundland. Predeceased by wife Edith, daughter Loretta, parents Elias and Phoebe, 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Survived by daughters Linda (Sandy) Harrison, Violet (Ted) Weeden, son Dail (Christi) Way, 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, beloved sister Claris, sister-in-law Jean Way, brother-in-law Lloyd (Julie) Kirby, many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family thanks Dr. Michael Newton and the nursing staff at Abbotsford Regional Hospital for the care Allan received. A memorial tea will be held at the home of niece Sharon (Reginald) Smith. Internment of cremated remains will be held at 1:30 pm, August 12, 2015 at Queen's Park Cemetery in Calgary. Cremation by Wiebe and Jeske of Abbotsford, BC. Allan's sense of humour, serenading, poetry recitations, and kindness will be greatly missed by nieces Marilyn and Sharon and great nieces Leah and Trudy-Bridgette.
